Hyundai Alcazar 7 seat SUV: New TVC released

Hyundai is India’s second largest car manufacturer and they have a variety of products in their line up. They recently launched their seven seater SUV Alcazar in the market. It competes with cars like Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and upcoming Mahindra XUV700 in the segment. It is based on current generation Hyundai Creta which got launched in the market last year. Hyundai has now released a new TVC for the Alcazar where it shows how the interiors on the new Alcazar have been designed to provide comfort, space and versatility.

The video has been shared by Hyundai India on their YouTube channel. Hyundai offers Alcazar in both 6 and 7-seater configurations. In the six seater version, Alcazar gets captain seats in the second row with a center console that consists of wireless phone charger and cupholders. With all three rows of seats up, Hyundai Alcazar offers 180 litres of boot space. This can be increased to 579 litres and 1051 litres by simply folding the third and second row seats.

The driver seat gets electrical adjustments which makes things easier for the driver. Third row of seat can be accessed easily by folding the second row seat. The second row seats can be adjusted to create more legroom for second row or third row passengers. Another comfort feature that Hyundai is offering Alcazar is the tray table for second row passenger. Occupants can keep their belongings on it. Hyundai is offering AC vents for rear passengers and an integrated air purifier is also installed in the car.

Hyundai Alcazar is offered with several features and even the base variant is decently loaded with features. Hyundai offers a large panoramic sunroof, manual sun blinds, automatic climate control, fully digital instrument cluster, 360 degree camera, bind spot monitor, premium speaker system from Bose, large 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment screen, tan leather wrapped seats and dashboard, ventilated seats, multi-function steering wheel and so on.

Both front and rear occupants have dedicates pads to charge phone wirelessly. Hyundai also offers ambient lights with the Alcazar. The Alcazar as mentioned above is based on Creta but, there are some exterior factors that differentiate both SUVs from each other. Hyundai Alcazar is available in three trims – Prestige, Platinum and Signature. Apart from the features listed above, Hyundai is also offering Disc brakes on all our wheels, ABS, EBD, ESC, dual airbags, HSA, auto headlamps, LED fog lamps, TPMS, auto-dimming IRVM, rear defogger and wiper and other safety features as standard.

Coming to the engine options. Hyundai is offering Alcazar with both petrol and diesel engine option. The petrol version of the SUV is powered by a 2.0 litre naturally aspirated engine that generates 159 PS and 191 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version uses a 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine option that generates 115 Ps and 250 Nm of peak torque. This is the same engine that is already doing duties in Hyundai Creta. Both petrol and diesel version of Alcazar are offered with manual and automatic gearbox options. Prices for Hyundai Alcazar start at Rs 16.30 lakh, ex-showroom.
