Mahindra Thar is one of the most popular 4×4 SUV in the country at the moment. It is currently the most affordable 4×4 SUV one can buy in the country and there is a waiting period of almost an year on the SUV. There is currently no other SUV that offers direct competition to Thar in this segment. We have seen several off-road and modification videos of Mahindra Thar online and some of them have been featured on our website as well. Here we have a video of two beautifully modified Mahindra Thar SUVs from Sikand Car, Ludhiana, Punjab.
The video has been uploaded by Speedy Singh on his YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger shows two modified Mahindra Thar that are entirely different from each other. The first Mahindra Thar in this video is an all-white Mahindra Thar. Vlogger mentions that this is not a wrap but, a paint job. The car has been completely finished in white.

Mahindra Thar comes with thick black cladding on the wheel arches, bumper at the front and rear. All this has been repainted in gloss white finish which gives the SUV a very unique look. The stock front grille has been replaced for an aftermarket unit and the headlights are now LED units with DRLs integrated in it. The front bumper has been replaced for an FRP off-road bumper which comes with projector headlamps in it. Below bumper, a red coloured metal skid plate is also seen.
Coming to the side profile, the Thar gets 22 inches aftermarket alloy wheels. The dual tone alloy wheel which do not come out of the fenders. The interior on this Mahindra Thar has been completely transformed. It now looks a lot more upmarket. The cabin gets a tan colour theme. The steering, seats, dashboard, roof are all finished in this colour. The black plastic bits in the cabin are now finished in silver colour which goes well with the overall theme.
There are other features like ambient lights, an electric sunroof for front and a moon roof for rear passenger. The SUV comes with an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment screen and Push button start and stop feature has also been included in this Thar.
Moving to the next Mahindra Thar, here the SUV gets a red and black combination. The plastic cladding bits on the fender and the bumper on this Thar have been finished in gloss black. The front grille has been replaced with an aftermarket unit and the stock headlamps have also been replaced with LED units. The front bumper is retained and the main attraction on this Thar are the 24 inch aftermarket alloy wheels with low profile tyres.
Inside the cabin, the Thar gets starlight roof, custom made seat covers and premium audio system. Unlike the white Mahindra Thar, no changes have been made to the interiors on this Mahindra Thar. The modifications have definitely affected off-road abilities of the these Mahindra Thar SUVs. Thar is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. There is a 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine option on offer. Both petrol and diesel are available with manual and automatic transmission options.
