As per ram87pune on T-BHP, the all-new Mahindra XUV700 production is in full swing. With the threat of a shortage of semi-conductors looming above all the manufacturers around the world, Mahindra has secured enough material to produce around 30,000 units of the XUV700. Currently, the assembly line of Mahindra XUV700 has a capacity of producing around 5,000 units every month. This translates into continuous production of the car for six months or by the end of February 2022.

Test results

According to the same person, during the testing of the XUV700, Mahindra got about four to six cases per thousand kilometres of leakage in the front shock absorber. During the testing, a similar number of cases also surfaced for front brakes making a screeching noise and brake judders. These numbers are way less than the initial problems faced by the owners of Mahindra XUV500.

Mahindra engineers could test the car way more than previously planned by the manufacturer due to the pandemic. Due to the pandemic, Mahindra pushed the launch of the car to 2021 and that allowed the engineers to test the software and hardware of the vehicle even more. This can mean that Mahindra XUV700 will have way fewer niggles compared to the XUV500 when it first got launched.

Mahindra is yet to announce the launch date of the all-new XUV700. However, the brand is most likely to launch the vehicle on 2nd October as it launched the all-new Thar last year on the same date.
