We have entered 2023 wherein a plethora of new-generation cars are going to launch along the way. We are talking about existing cars getting extensive facelifts, new generation models, and powertrain changes to some of the popular existing models. The Grand i10 Nios is an entry-level model from the South Korean manufacturer. Rivalling cars like the  Maruti Swift and Tata Tiago, it is now due for a midlife facelift update to stay in line with its rivals. The new facelift model has been spotted testing on Indian grounds with hidden body panels and interiors. The major change on this model is likely to be a new set of bumpers, reworked interiors, and some minor changes on the body panels. The powertrain options are likely to remain the same with the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine option. There are chances that the pricing could increase depending on the changes it would get.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 

The Ioniq 5 which is a fully electric car is based on the e-GMP EV-specific platform. The EV6 is also based on the same platform. If we talk about the Ioniq, it gets a modern-day design with some retro design elements and a minimalistic interior layout. Under the hood, it is confirmed to come with 72.6kWh which returns a claimed range of 631km respectively. It is a flagship product from the brand which gets a similar treatment in terms of features and equipment. So, we can expect all the modern-day tech and gizmos with premium touches.

Hyundai has showcased the Ioniq 5 in India and bookings are open for the same. So, what’s next in the EV lineup? The brand is looking ahead at the Ioniq 6 which sits above the Ioniq 5. This new model is likely to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 wherein we can get a gist of its India launch. As far as range is concerned, it is available with two battery pack options. A 53kWh and a 77kWh battery pack options. You also get to choose between a rear-wheel drive setup as well as an all-wheel drive setup for the car. The former produces a power of 228bhp and 250Nm of torque whereas the latter makes 320bhp and 605Nm of torque.
