Design changes
The Aura facelift is yet to be spotted, but the Grand i10 Nios facelift was recently spotted testing in South Korea. According to reports, Hyundai plans to launch the Grand i10 facelift soon. So why are we talking about the Grand i10 Nios? For clarification, the Aura is just an extended version of the Grand i10 Nios. So Hyundai will have to update the Aura after the Grand i10 Nios.
Rs 7 lakh Dzire rival – Specifications
As this is only a facelift, we don’t expect Hyundai to play with the engine specifications. The Grand i10 facelift currently comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (81bhp/113Nm) and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol (98bhp/172Nm). Both engines will continue with their respective transmission options. Apart from this, the car will also continue with the CNG option on its 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
Features
The Aura is already one of the most loaded cars in its segment. However, Hyundai could look to give it more in this facelift. What can we expect? Hyundai might tweak the dashboard layout and add features like a digital instrument cluster, an updated sound system and a new steering wheel etc.
Rs 7 lakh Dzire rival – Launch & pricing
As stated above, Hyundai is expected to soon launch the Grand i10 Nios facelift. So Hyundai could launch the Aura facelift a few months after the Grand i10 Nios facelift. What about the pricing? Price is expected to be hiked depending upon the updates it would get. We could expect a price hike of Rs 50,000 depending upon the variants.
