Maruti has started paying serious attention to the most lucrative segment of India. Their new sub-compact SUV, the ‘ Fronx’ is finally unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023. The new SUV that sits between the Baleno and Grand Vitara portrays a bold SUVish look. It is a comprehensive upgrade over the Baleno by offering a muscular stance and upgradation in terms of features and powertrain. In today’s article, we will know about the different Maruti Fronx variants so that you can get the best-suited variant for your needs. 

Maruti Fronx – Sigma variant

First, let’s talk about the base variant of the Fronx which actually doesn’t feel like one. Why do we say so? The ‘Sigma variant of the Fronx is packed with plenty of features like 

  • Projector headlamps 
  • Keyless entry
  • All four power windows
  • Automatic climate control
  • Wheel covers
  • As far as safety is concerned, Maruti has standardised features like dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, ISOFIX child anchors, all 3-point ELR seat belts, and more. If we talk about the engine options it gets the 
  • 1.2-litre DualJet petrol – 89bhp and 113Nm of torque with 5-speed manual (no automatic gearbox option is available)

It’s the Delta variant now which now offers the option of the automatic gearbox. Moreover, you also get additional features and some visual enhancements too. The ‘Delta’ model gets additional features like

  • On-Board Voice Assistant
  • 4 Speaker System
  • Anti-Theft Security System
  • Electrically Foldable ORVMs

The Delta variant is available with the same 1.2-litre DualJet petrol – 89bhp and 113Nm of torque but you have now got the option to choose between 5-speed MT and AMT.

The Delta+ variant of Fronx adds features like 

  • Features Of Delta
  • LED DRLs
  • Automatic Headlamps
  • Alloy Wheels (painted)

What’s added is the option to get the 1.0-litre Boostjet engine that makes 99bhp and 147Nm of torque. So, you can get the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated mill and also choose the 1.0-litre turbo petrol with the 5-speed manual.

The Zeta variant is the second top variant of the Fronx. Though the pricing of the car is not revealed yet but this one could be the best option for many buyers. It does offer a healthy list of features alongwith both engine options.  Features of Delta+

  • Suzuki Connect
  • Rear Wiper & Washer

This variant also enables you to choose from all the transmission options available. So, from this variant, you can get the 1.2-litre petrol with the 5MT/5AMT and the 1.0-litre Boostjet with the 5MT/6AT.

Let’s talk about the top variant of the Maruti Fronx. Known as the ‘Alpha’, it’s the one with all the bells and whistles. This one gets features like
