Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift launched: Bookings open for diesel trim

Following the launch of the new Innova Hycross, it was believed that the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese automaker Toyota Kirloskar Motor will discontinue the Innova Crysta or it will make it available for the fleet operators in only lower trims. Although for a sigh of relief, the company has now announced that it is re-commencing the bookings of the New Innova Crysta with a brand-new tough and rugged front fascia. The company stated that the new Innova Crysta diesel will come available in four grades of Diesel Manual Transmission.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor stated that customers can book the all-new Innova Crysta for a booking amount of Rs 50,000 via visiting the nearest dealership or by visiting the official company website. The company further added that the model will be available in four grades Zx (7 Seater), Vx (7/8 Seater), Gx (7/8 Seater) and G (7/8 Seater) and in five colors – White Pearl Crystal Shine, Superwhite, Silver, Attitude Black and Avant Garde Bronze.

In terms of changes, the new Innova Crysta gets a revised front facsica in which it boasts a newly designed front bumper and some more chrome emblishments, Apart from this there seems to be not alterations on the interior and feature list of the MPV. It will still come equipped with Smart Playcast 8’’touchscreen audio with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, Rear Auto AC with Digital Display, 8-Way Power Adjust Driver Seat, Smart Entry System, Seat Back Table, TFT MID with detailed Drive Information, Leather Seat Color Options (Black & Camel Tan), Ambient illumination and One Touch Tumble Second Row Seats.

Meanwhile in terms of safety features it will come equipped with 7 SRS Airbags, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Vehicle Stability Control and Hill-Start Assist Control, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution ( EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), 3-point Seatbelt and Headrest for improved safety.

As for the drivetrain, it will come powered with the same 2.4 liter-4 cylinder GD turbodiesel engine that makes 148 Bhp-343 Nm (360 Nm on the automatic trim). This time around there will only be a 5 speed manual gearbox as standard and there will be no automatic transmission option available.
