Sidhu Moosewala was an extremely popular singer from Punjab. He was shot dead by a group in broad daylight last year. The police initiated an investigation into this matter and even took the culprits into custody. However, the culprits have still not received any punishment. Angered over the fact that justice was being delayed, a hardcore Sidhu Moosewala fan drove his Mahindra Thar SUV into a canal in Punjab. This was done as a protest against the authorities by throwing the SUV into the canal in Jalandhar.

The videos and images of the Mahindra Thar inside the canal have already gone viral on the internet. In the videos, we see an older generation Mahindra Thar SUV inside the canal. There is water in the canal, and it is quite clear that the driver intentionally did this act. The Mahindra Thar lying in the canal grabbed a lot of attention, and people started gathering around it. There was water up to the bonnet of the Thar. It looks like a heavily modified SUV, but we do not see any snorkel on this vehicle. The water has definitely gotten inside the cabin of the SUV.

Later, the SUV was pulled out of the canal using a crane. The SUV was lifted as the vehicle could not be recovered in a normal manner. It was actually the onlookers who called the police and reported the incident. The owner of the Mahindra Thar said that if his car is damaged from this act, he can always buy another car; however, there is no replacement for Sidhu Moosewala. The person was extremely frustrated about the case and the delayed justice. After retrieving the car, the police will look into this matter and conduct further investigation.

Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s family and fans have been putting pressure on the state government to speed up the process and serve justice to the singer and his family. Sidhu Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, has protested and urged the state government on several occasions. Reports suggest that the delayed justice in the singer’s murder case is actually making people frustrated. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is the main accused in this murder case, and he is currently behind bars. The gangster has been accused of hatching plans to kill the Punjabi singer. Sidhu Moosewala had also received death threats from the gangster before the attack. Moosewala was given security cover by the state police after he received threats; however, this was removed after the new government came into power in the state.
The Mahindra Thar that was driven into the canal in Jalandhar is currently under police custody. The car will remain in custody until the inquiry is completed in this matter. The police have mentioned that they will be calling the Thar owner to the station and will be inquiring about the whole incident. When the singer was attacked, he was also driving a black-colored older generation Mahindra Thar SUV. The killers, who were following him in another car, stopped him at a junction and shot him. The singer was murdered on May 29, 2022.
