TVS has been busy the last two months in terms of launch. Last month, it launched the X, its sporty electric scooter and now it has launched the TVS Apache RTR 310. The RTR310 is the naked version of the RR310. So what does it get? and its pricing? In today’s article, let’s talk about this bike.
Design
The RTR310 looks aggressive and sporty from the front. Design highlights include spilt LED headlamps, a sharp fuel tank design, a twin-piece seat and a raised tail section. The rider position is upright and engaging. The exhaust seems to be directly taken from the RR 310.
TVS Apache RTR 310 – Specifications
The RTR310 comes with the tried and tested 312cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder technology. This engine also does the duty on the Apache RR310 and BMW 310s. It is capable of producing 35.6bhp and 28.7Nm of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
Features
TVS has loaded the RTR 310 with tons of features. It comes with a landscape-oriented 5.0-inch TFT screen. On this screen, we have a speedometer, odometer, trip metre, gear indicator and temperature. Other features could include LED headlights & tail light, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, heated & cooled seats and tyre pressure monitoring system. The RTR 310 gets race-specific modes like dynamic stability control and linear stability control.
TVS Apache RTR 310 – Pricing and rivals
TVS has priced Apache RTR 310 at Rs 2.86 lakh and goes to Rs 3.10 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The RTR 310 rivals bikes like the KTM390, Triumph Speed 400 and BMW G310 R.
