Royal Enfield is known to be working on a range of motorcycles, including 450cc single-cylinder and 650cc parallel-twin models. Some have already been spotted during testing, with the Himalayan 450 confirmed for a 2023 release. Another nearly ready bike is the Shotgun 650, frequently seen in heavily camouflaged form. A digital rendering of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has surfaced, providing a glimpse of its potential appearance.
A video from the YouTube channel “TrippleLines” showcases two similar-looking motorcycles, serving as digital representations of the upcoming Shotgun 650. Like the camouflaged version seen during testing, this digital rendering depicts the Shotgun 650 with a low-slung stance and minimal ground clearance, similar to the already-released Super Meteor 650. However, unlike the Super Meteor 650, which features a smaller 16-inch rear wheel, this digital rendering of the Shotgun 650 has nearly equally-sized front and rear tires with multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The digital rendering also features the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 with a round-themed long fuel tank, rounded front and rear fenders, and triangular side panels with rounded edges, mirroring the design of the Super Meteor 650. The low-slung dual exhaust pipes, rounded tail lamp, and turn indicators also resemble those of the parallel-twin cruiser.

The major point of distinction is the front fascia, as this digital rendering shows the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 with a round-themed cowl surrounding the rounded LED headlamp. Unlike the Super Meteor 650, the Shotgun 650 depicted here has a slightly elevated seating arrangement over a floating tubular subframe. The handlebar also appears different, with a flatter design and a slightly lower position.
In these digital renderings, the Royal Enfield Shotgun features blacked-out alloy wheels and a parallel-twin engine. Behind the round-themed cowl, there’s an offset rounded instrument console, similar to the one on the Super Meteor 650. The Shotgun 650 also comes equipped with upside-down telescopic forks at the front and dual-sided coil springs for suspension.
These digital renderings may suggest a mild restyling of the Super Meteor 650 into the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. However, in reality, the two motorcycles are expected to have distinct appearances. Nevertheless, they will likely share the proven 649cc parallel-twin engine, which is also used in the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650.
