Hyundai i20 facelift variants explained!

Hyundai is gradually updating all of its cars in its lineup. Last week, it launched the facelifted version of the i20. The major highlight of this facelift is the New Era variant. This variant comes with 6 airbags making it a standard fitment on the i20. But what else does it get and has Hyundai changed the features of other variants? Hyundai i20 facelift variants

The Hyundai i20 facelift now only comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing 81bhp and 114Nm of torque. Transmission options include a manual and iVT gearbox. 

Era

The Era variant is priced at Rs 8.25 lakh (MT).

The Sportz is priced at Rs 9.81 lakh for MT and Rs 9.98 lakh for the dual-tone option. The iVT option is priced at Rs 11.02 lakh and Rs 11.19 lakh for the dual-tone option.

The Asta(O) variant is priced at Rs 11.71 lakh (MT) and Rs 12.08 lakh for the dual-tone option, while the iVT is priced at Rs 13.11 lakh and Rs 13.29 lakh for the dual-tone option. 

Additional features over Asta include:

  • 10.25-inch infotainment 
  • Wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • Connected car technology
