Tata Motors’ Electric division, the largest electric carmaker in India, recently launched the all-new 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift in India. Well, the company has now started delivering this brand-new model across the country. Recently, the delivery video of the first-ever Tata Nexon EV has been shared online.

The video of the delivery of the first-ever Tata Nexon EV in India has been shared on YouTube by The Rehan Cars on their channel. The video shows a Tata dealership filled with the family members and staff of the showroom delivering this first Nexon EV. The entire family can be seen buzzing with excitement as they cut the cake during the delivery ceremony.

The first Nexon EV delivered, seen in the video, is finished in a shade of white. The exact variant of this particular Nexon EV delivered is unknown. For the 2023 model year with the facelift, Tata Motors is offering the Nexon EV in two trims: the Medium Range (MR) and the Long Range (LR).

The more affordable MR variant comes equipped with the same 30 kWh as before but now offers a claimed ARAI range of 325 km. The other more expensive LR variant comes equipped with a 40.5 kWh battery that offers a claimed ARAI range of 465 km. In terms of performance, the MR version of the Nexon EV produces 129 horsepower and 215 Newton-meters of torque, while the LR version generates 145 horsepower and the same 215 Newton-meters of torque.

This year, Tata Motors has gone all out with the new Nexon EV facelift. It has given this popular EV sub-compact SUV a ton of new segment-first features. This model comes with a brand-new exterior design that boasts a modern and futuristic-looking split headlamp design. The front, although it may seem like the ICE Nexon facelift, gets some unique design changes.

The major design difference on the front of the new Nexon EV is that it gets a full-width LED DRL on top, as opposed to the not connected LED DRL on the ICE Nexon facelift. It also gets a different design for the lower grille. The car on the inside also gets a much larger 12.23-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system in the Nexon facelift is 10.25 inches.

Additionally, the car also gets V2V (Vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) charging capabilities. In terms of the features, it also comes with amenities such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, ventilated and height-adjustable front seats, a JBL 9-speaker system, an air purifier, a single-pane electric sunroof, fast-charging Type-C ports, a wireless charger, and the newly launched Arcade EV app suite. This new feature allows vehicle owners to stream OTT platforms such as Disney+Hotstar and Prime Video.

Tata Motors has launched the all-new 2023 Nexon EV with 6 variants to choose from. These variants are namely Creative+, Fearless, Fearless+, Fearless+S, Empowered, and Empowered+. Additionally, the Nexon EV is offered with two different battery options: the first is the MR (medium range), and the other is the LR (long range). As for the pricing, the MR model will start at Rs 14.74 lakh and go up to Rs 17.84 lakh. Meanwhile, the LR model is being offered in all variants except the Creative+ and Empowered variants. It will start at Rs 18.19 lakh and will go up to Rs 19.94 lakh.
