Royal Enfield’s next 350cc bike spied upclose

Royal Enfield has been on a roll with several launches in the last 12 months. Its most recent launch has been the Bullet 350. Now, another 350cc bike could join its rank. Can you guess it? It is going to come with a Bobber-style bike based on the Classic 350. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Royal Enfield Bobber 350.

Royal Enfield has changed some things on the Classic 350 to create the Bobber 350. It doesn’t come with an extended wheelbase like a typical Bobber. Rather, the Bobber is more of a design variation compared to the Classic 350. One thing Royal Enfield is trying is to give the Bobber a retro look as seen from the whitewall tyres. It will come with a single seat as standard. Pillion seats could be offered in an optional pack and also as an accessory. The rest of the things like the Switchgear, instrument cluster, headlights, etc. should be similar to the Classic 350.

Differences between Classic and Bobber

The Bobber 350 has a slightly taller handlebar exhaust. Other different things include LED headlights and smaller seats with better cushioning. Also, the exhaust has different tips. These are all major differences. In terms of similarities, it will continue with the 349cc single-cylinder engine capable of producing 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The transmission will be a 5-speed gearbox. Equipment-wise, we could see telescopic front forks, dual rear shock absorbers, dual-channel ABS, wire-spoke wheels and an analogue instrument cluster.

Royal Enfield Bobber 350 – Launch and pricing

Currently, Royal Enfield seems to be gearing up for the Himalayan 450. Considering the minimal changes, we expect Royal Enfield to silently launch the Bobber 350 after the launch of the Himalayan 450. It is expected to become the most expensive 350cc bike in RE’s portfolio. We expect the Bobber 350 to be priced around Rs 2.60 lakh to Rs 2.80 lakh mark (on-road, Mumbai).
