Earlier this month, Honda launched the much anticipated Elevate SUV in the country. The SUV has started on a good note. The Elevate is decently loaded but misses out on some convenience features. One such feature is ventilated seats. Now, Honda has surprisingly introduced ventilated seats on the Elevate, but there is a catch. In today’s article, let’s talk about this topic.
Ventilated seats
As stated above, Honda has started offering Ventilated seats on the ELevate. But wait there is a slight twist. It is offering ventilated seats as an official accessory on the Elevate. The cost of the accessory is Rs 6000. These accessorised ventilated seats will draw power from the SUV’s 12-volt power socket. So, if you install the ventilated seats, you can’t simultaneously use the 12-volt charger for other things. Technically, Honda should have offered it as a proper feature, but it is good for someone looking for back cooling in the Elevate.
Honda Elevate other features
The Elevate comes with some features like an electric sunroof, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless phone connectivity, a lane watch camera, connected car technology and wireless charging. Safety features include Honda sensing which is ADAS. Other safety features include 6 airbags, an emergency stop signal, a hill start assist, a vehicle stability assist and a rear parking sensor.
Specifications
The Elevate comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of producing 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. Transmission options include a manual and a CVT gearbox. Honda claims that it can deliver a mileage of 15.31 with the MT gearbox and 16.92 on the CVT gearbox. Sadly, the Elevate misses out on a hybrid option.
