Most recently, these five popular actors and famous people have bought brand-new cars. The list of these people includes names like Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, “Gadar” fame actor Sunny Deol, and Rakul Preet, along with a few others.
Sunny Deol – Jeep Meridian
The first person on this list is none other than the recently released star of “Gadar 2,” Sunny Deol. The actor has been riding high on the success of his newest movie, which is on its way to crossing Rs 500 crore. Now, despite achieving such a huge number, the actor recently went and bought himself a humble Jeep Meridian SUV. Don’t get us wrong, a Rs 40 lakh SUV is not an ordinary thing to purchase. However, considering Sunny Deol, who also owns a Porsche 911 GT3 and a Land Rover Defender, the Jeep Meridian seems to be a lot more humble. It is also the cheapest vehicle in his garage.

Coming to the specifications of the Jeep Meridian SUV, it is powered by the same engine as the Jeep Compass diesel. It uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that generates 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. It is currently available with a diesel engine only, and this engine is offered with a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The price for a brand new Jeep Meridian starts at Rs 30.10 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 37.15 lakh, ex-showroom.
Khushali Kumar – Mercedes Maybach S580
Next up on this list is Bollywood actress Khushali Kumar. She is the daughter of the popular Indian film producer and music producer Bhushan Kumar. The actress recently got herself a brand new Mercedes Maybach S580 luxury sedan. This extremely luxurious sedan comes equipped with electrically adjustable seats both in the front and rear, heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, flush-fit door handles, ambient lights, premium leather upholstery, and a massage function for rear seats.

The third Bollywood celebrity on this list is the stunning South and Bollywood actress Rakul Preet. The actress recently bought herself a brand new Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 SUV. The actress has gifted herself this SUV in a classy shade of black. This brand-new SUV was delivered to the actress’s home on a flatbed trailer. The car was fully covered in protective material to keep it safe during transportation.
In terms of features, this SUV comes equipped with all the creature comforts available in the Maybach sedans. In terms of the powertrain of this massive SUV, it comes equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine, accompanied by a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine delivers a peak power output of 557 PS and 730 Nm of torque. The hybrid system can provide an additional 22 PS and 250 Nm of torque on demand. A 9-speed automatic transmission channels the power to all four wheels.
Rajnikanth – BMW X7
Fourth on this list is the Tamil superstar and legendary actor Rajinikanth. Unlike other people on this list, Rajinikanth was gifted his newest luxury car. The actor, as appreciation for the success of his most recent movie “Jailer,” was gifted a brand-new BMW X7 SUV by the producer of the movie. Jailer’s producer Kalanithi Maran brought two cars to Rajinikanth’s home – a BMW X7 SUV and an i7 EV sedan. The actor was asked which one he would like to keep. Being the humble man Rajinikanth is, he chose the less expensive BMW X7 SUV worth Rs 1.26 crore.
The new 2023 BMW X7 comes available with both petrol and diesel engine options. Both the petrol and diesel engines use a 3.0-liter, inline, six-cylinder, twin-turbocharged design. The petrol variant of the X7 generates a maximum of 381 PS and 520 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the diesel variant produces around 340 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque. Both petrol and diesel variants are available with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. The power from the engine is sent to all four wheels. There is a 48V mild-hybrid system available with both the engines, which adds another 12 PS and 200 Nm of torque to the BMW X7.
Natasha Poonawalla – Bentley Bentayga EWB
Last but not least on this list is Natasha Poonawalla, the wife of Serum Institute of India’s CEO Adar Poonawalla. The famous businesswoman was recently spotted in her brand new Bentley Bentayga EWB worth Rs 6 crore. The car was spotted outside Kareena Kapoor’s home as Natasha was invited for a small house party. This new SUV is finished in a very classy shade of Dark Sapphire.
The all-new Bentley Bentayga is available only with an option of a V8 petrol engine. The SUV is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine. The engine generates a maximum of 550 PS and 770 Nm of peak torque. As for the transmission duties, they are performed by an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard.
