The current-generation lifestyle off-roader Thar from the country’s largest SUV manufacturer, Mahindra Automotive, has amassed extensive popularity in India. The company, despite its launch a few years ago, is still selling this SUV like hotcakes. One of the biggest reasons behind its popularity is the modification options that the owners of this SUV have. Recently, another owner of a Mahindra Thar SUV decided to modify it, and with this modification, he has created something which is truly unique. A video of this distinctively modified Mahindra Thar has been shared online.
The video of this one-of-a-kind Mahindra Thar has been shared on YouTube by none other than Vig Auto Accessories on their channel. The shop is known for sharing some of the best modification videos of popular cars in India. In this video, the owner of the shop and the presenter of the video show this truly unique Mahindra Thar with a ton of modifications.

Exterior modifications
The video starts off with the presenter introducing this particular Mahindra Thar and listing off the modifications done to it. He mentions that there are numerous Thars in India, but the one which they have named the Thar “Avalanche” Edition is a one-of-a-kind car. He starts at the front of the vehicle and mentions that they have added a brand-new grille. He also states that they have swapped the halogen headlights with full LED DRL-equipped LED headlights. Additionally, they have also added high-power LED bulbs to the fog lamps as well.
Moving on, he then mentions that for this project, they suggested the owner of this particular car to go with a full white-out appearance. He stated that to achieve this unique look, they had to paint all the parts such as front and rear bumpers, all four fenders, hardtop, and other small bits and pieces in white color. He added that they have not wrapped anything, and everything has been properly painted. He moves to the rear of the car and adds that they have also painted the rear spare tire cover and replaced the taillights as well.
Interior modifications
After finishing off with the exterior modifications of this particular Mahindra Thar, the presenter shows the fully customized interior of the SUV. He first shows the door of the vehicle, adding that they have wrapped the entire door panel in white leather with cranberry red leather inserts. He states that painting the door panels would have been much easier; however, to add the upmarket luxury feel, they have wrapped it with leather.
Following the door panel, the newly added fully customized steering wheel of the Thar is shown. He mentions that the Thar has been given a new carbon fiber D-Cut steering wheel with Alcantara inserts. After this, he shows the fully wrapped dashboard with carbon fiber-dipped plastic trims all around. This Thar also received the Mercedes Benz G63 AMG-styled air conditioning vents and new speaker grilles.
The presenter also shows the fully leather-wrapped seats with diamond quilting and red inserts. He adds that the center console and roof of the car, along with all the other plastic panels, have been wrapped in the same dual-tone color scheme of white and cranberry red. He also adds that for the music system upgrade, they have also added the new Sony ES series speakers and components as well.
