New Hyundai Venue – expected changes!

The compact SUV segment is one of the most fiercely competitive in the country. With the launch of the new Nexon, Tata has taken it to the next level. The Nexon offers almost everything needed in this segment and more. Next up several compact SUVs like the Sonet and XUV300 are going to get major updates. Along with that, we also have the new-gen Venue. In today’s article, let’s talk about the new Hyundai Venue 2025.

New platform and design

New Hyundai Venue front design

Not much is not known about the new Venue. But, being a new generation, we can expect the new Venue to be based on a completely new platform. With the new generation, Hyundai can solve the space problem that plagues the current Venue. Hopefully, Hyundai also improve safety with this new platform. It’s too early to talk about the design, but we can expect a Palisade-like design. Hyundai is already using this design on the Creta facelift, so we can expect a similar design on the Venue.

New Hyundai Venue specifications?

We think the new-generation model would continue with the current engine options. So we should see the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options should include MT, iMT, CVT and DCT on the various engines. These are just speculations, and Hyundai might offer new engine options on the new-gen Venue.

More features

The Hyundai Venue is already a feature-rich car, but Hyundai will be looking to take it to the next level in the new-gen model. Firstly we could see a 10 or 12-inch infotainment system, 360-degree camera, heads-up display, ventilated seats etc. Also, Hyundai has added ADAS to the Venue, but it is a camera-based one. We can expect a proper radar based on the new Venue. Overall, Hyundai could tweak the interior design with a new dashboard layout. Hopefully, Hyundai will make the new Venue a bit more roomier in the update.

It is too early to speculate about the price hike. Currently, the Venue starts from Rs 9.14 lakh and goes to Rs 16.11 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). We think the prices of the new model could start from Rs 11 lakh and go to Rs 18 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
