Kia Carens is a feature loaded and premium 7-seater offering from the brand. It is comfortable and has well designed interiors which offers an upmarket feel. To attract more buyers, Kia announced the X-Line edition for Carens. We have already seen X-Line variants of Seltos and Sonet and now the similar treatment is carried over to the Carens. However, along with the X-Line edition, Kia has also updated the overall feature list of the 2023 Kia Carens. What are those added features? Let’s have a look at them.
2023 Kia Carens – Added Features
With the X-Line edition, Kia has updated the technological and convenience features of the Carens. Also do note that the feature upgrade is not done across the variants. To ease the understanding of variant wise features, refer the following table-

Specifications
The Carens come with two petrol and one diesel engine options. It comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of producing 113bhp and 144Nm of torque. This engine comes with manual transmission and iMT gearbox. The other petrol engine is a 1.5 turbo petrol capable of producing 157bhp and 253Nm of torque. This engine comes with a manual and DCT gearbox. The diesel engine is a 1.5-litre CRDi unit capable of producing 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. This engine comes with a iMT and a torque converter gearbox.
2023 Kia Carens – Pricing
Kia Carens comes at a starting price of Rs 12.41 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) and goes all the way up to Rs 23.42 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Kia recently increased the prices of Carens, so we don’t expect Kia to increase the prices again for these added features.
