Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Interiors Spied!

Testing vehicles in high altitude regions is not something really new to us. Automakers test their cars extensively and in all types of climatic conditions. A few days back we received spy shots of the upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-door version which was spotted in Leh. Now, another Mahindra SUV has been spotted in Leh, the Mahindra XUV300 facelift. What can we find from the spy shots? Let’s check out.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift – What’s New?

Now it’s not the first time that we have spotted a test mule of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift. The car has been spotted before also and we have shared the details of the possible design cues. However, the test mule spotted recently has revealed the centre console of the SUV.

If you look at the images you can clearly see the new touchscreen infotainment system. The touchscreen system is now bigger than the current model and is supposed to be a 10-inch unit. The touchscreen system seems very similar to the one we spotted on the test mule of the Mahindra Thar 5-door. There are also few buttons underneath the screen which will have functions for media controls. Also, unlike the vertically placed AC vents on the current model, the facelift will get horizontally placed AC vents that are visible in the spy shots. Other than the new screen the climate control position seems very similar to the outgoing model.

Other Highlights

The design cues of the XUV300 facelift will be heavily inspired by the Mahindra BE and is evident on the test mule as well. At the front it gets an upright grille and sculpted bonnet. The test mule seems to have temporary headlamps but we do expect tweaked headlamp design on the production model. The side profile is also pretty upright with not many cuts and creases. However at the rear it has a new tail lamps design with an inverted comma-like silhouette.

We also expect addition of new features like a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, premium sound system, digital instrument cluster, and ADAS. Specification-wise the new XUV 300 will continue with the 1.5-litre turbo petrol, 1.5-litre GDi and 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift – Launch Timeline

The XUV300 facelift has been spotted testing multiple times in the recent time and seems we are nearing the launch. Talking about the launch timeline, Mahindra could launch the XUV300 facelift by the end of this year or early next year. Pricing-wise we can expect a hike of Rs 50k to 60k, depending on the variants. Currently, the Mahindra XUV300 starts from Rs 9.39 lakh and goes to Rs 17.79 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
