It seems to be true, as the Nexon EV is having its effect on other competitors. MG has slashed the prices of ZS EV making it more affordable. MG ZS EV new price
Now the pricing of MG ZS EV starts from Rs 24.22 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) for the Excite variant. The Excite variant has got a price cut of Rs 50,000. The Exclusive and Exclusive Pro variants got a price reduction of Rs 2.30 lakh and 2 lakh respectively. Now the Exclusive variant is Rs 26.43 lakh and Exclusive Pro is Rs 27.37 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Both the Exclusive and Exclusive Pro variants get iconic ivory additions for an additional cost of Rs 10,000.
Battery and Motors
The ZS EV comes with a 174bhp motor and comes with a 280Nm of torque. It comes with a 50.3kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 461km. In terms of performance, it does a 0 to 100kmph sprint in just 8.5 seconds. It also supports a 50 kW fast charger that completes 0% to 80% charge in 60 minutes.
Features
The interior of the ZS EV looks quite premium. It gets red stitching all around the interior making the interior look premium. What about features? Being an MG, it gets a plethora of features like a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree parking camera, 10.1-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, digital instrument cluster, and more.
