2024 Skoda Superb design revealed ahead of unveil!

Skoda is gearing up to globally unveil the all-new Superb. For the last few months, it has been slowly revealing some details of its luxury sedan. Now, ahead of its unveiling on 2nd November, Skoda has released design sketches of the 2024 Superb. So, how is the design different? In today’s article, let’s find out.

Design sketches

Skoda is employing the philosophy of “if it’s not broken, don’t change it” with the new Superb. At first glance, you would not notice many changes. However, Skoda has tweaked the DRL & grille design. Even the lower bumper gets a new look. The side profile doesn’t look that different, barring the new alloy wheels. At the rear, we have sleeker tail lamps with the Skoda nameplate in the middle. Under the design, the new Superb shares its platform with the Volkswagen Passat.

Interior

Skoda had earlier released images of the interior of the new Superb. The interior of the Superb has received a major overhaul. We have a vertical slate design pattern with AC vents nicely integrated into them at the corners. We can also see wooden trims on the dashboard and the door pads. Also, we can see ambient lights running throughout the dashboard and the door pads. The centre console is now cleaner than ever before. The gear lever is placed on the steering column similar to some Mercedes cars. Feature-wise, it now comes with a 13-inch infotainment, digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, wireless charging etc.

2024 Skoda Superb – Coming to India?

Skoda is yet to state anything about the new Superb coming to India. Instead, Skoda is gearing up to launch the current-gen Superb back in India as a CBU import in limited numbers. Skoda had to discontinue the current-gen Superb due to the implementation of BS6 Stage 2 norms. Eventually, We think Skoda will launch the new Superb in India, but when that will happen is anybody’s guess.
