The Mahindra Scorpio-N is currently one of, if not the most popular SUVs on sale in India. It is so popular that the waiting periods on this SUV have stretched to over a year for some select variants. Now, we all understand that this SUV, being one of the newer ones, is in high demand in the country, and people love it very much. However, we Indians are not the only ones who love this SUV. The Mahindra Scorpio-N is also becoming increasingly popular in Australia as well. Recently, a video showing the Australian TV host Grace Hayden enjoying a long coastal trip in a Mahindra Scorpio-N has been shared online.
Grace Hayden’s Australian road trip
This video of the Australian TV personality taking an epic trip in a Mahindra Scorpio-N has been shared online by Mahindra Australia on their official YouTube channel. It starts off with the TV host Grace Hayden, who is the daughter of the legendary Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden, introducing the agenda of the video. She mentions that in this video, she will be getting behind the steering wheel of the new Mahindra Scorpio-N and will be taking it down the Great Ocean Road trip. On this trip, she adds that she will be visiting beaches, rainforests, and different cafes.
What Australians love about the Mahindra Scorpio-N
Following this, she starts her journey by getting a coffee and sandwich and heading straight onto the road in the Mahindra SUV. The first thing she starts to talk about the Scorpio-N is how spacious and comfortable it feels. She mentions that as they are not used to seeing the middle seat missing in the middle row, looking back seems a little different. However, she then mentions that they actually enjoy it because they are a family of five, and they don’t have to argue as to who will sit in the middle seat.

Next, she starts talking about the availability of Apple CarPlay on the new Mahindra Scorpio-N. Grace states that having this connectivity feature is very amazing as all of her needs, like maps, music streaming services, and other important features, come directly on the screen inside the cabin. She also adds that she loves the addition of the electric sunroof. She feels like this 4X4 SUV’s sunroof is an added luxury, and she really likes it.
Soon after this, she reaches her first stop, the iconic Bells Beach, and after taking a quick lunch stop, she continues her journey and ends it at the famous Twelve Apostles, a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of Port Campbell National Park. Lastly, she thanks Mahindra Automotive for letting her borrow the Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV for the road trip.

As mentioned above, the Mahindra Scorpio-N is an extremely popular SUV, both in India and Australia. This SUV from the company comes with two powertrain choices – a 2.0-litre 203 PS turbocharged petrol and a 2.2-litre 175 PS diesel engine. Both of these powertrain choices are offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options, with the diesel engine also available with a 4XPLOR four-wheel drive system. The prices of Scorpio-N range between Rs 13.06 lakh to Rs 24.51 lakh.
