It is no surprise that the Curvv is going to be Tata’s next big-ticket launch in the Indian market. The Curvv is going to represent Tata in the highly competitive C-SUV segment. So, Tata wants to leave no stone unturned and is rigorously testing the car. In a new set of spy shots, the Curvv looks almost production-ready. In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2024 Tata Curvv.

In the video, we can see a heavily camouflaged test mule of a car. It is easy to guess it is the Curvv from its unique silhouette. Also, the front design is very similar to the Nexon facelift. In the side profile, we can see the small window profile and a different alloy wheel design. At the rear, we can see the extended boot and sloping C-pillar. Talking about the road presence, the Curvv looks a bit small. Hopefully, that could be just due to the camouflage and the car looks better in the production version.
Specifications
Tata is yet to reveal the exact specifications of the Curvv. If we speculate, the EV version could come with a battery pack of around 50kWh to 60kWh, giving it a claimed range of 450 or 500km. There is more clarity regarding the ICE specifications. We recently got confirmation that 1.5-litre turbo petrol will debut on the Curvv. So one engine is confirmed, the other could be the new 1.2-litre turbo petrol showcased at the Auto Expo. Diesel duties could be handled by the 1.5-litre unit that could be re-tuned for the Curvv. Transmission should include manual and automatic on all the engines.
2024 Tata Curvv – Launch timeline
Tata has stated that it plans to launch the Curvv sometime in 2024. Considering the looks of this test mule, Tata seems to be on track to achieving this timeline. The EV version will be launched first, followed by the ICE models a few months later. Pricing-wise, the Curvv EV could start from Rs 18 lakh, while the ICE variants could start from Rs 13 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
