Just a few weeks ago, the Japanese automaker Nissan India launched the newest edition of its sub-compact SUV, the Magnite. This new edition has been named the Magnite Kuro Edition, and it features a sinister all-black appearance. The Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition has become the country’s most affordable dark edition model. Recently, a detailed video walkaround of this new SUV has been shared online.
The video walkaround of the new Nissan Kuro Edition comes courtesy of Fuel Injected. It starts with the presenter of the video giving a brief introduction to the new edition. He mentions that the word “Kuro” in Japanese means “Black.” The new Magnite Kuro edition is based on the second-to-top XV variant of the model. In terms of pricing, it starts at Rs 8.27 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.46 lakh. Additionally, he adds that the Magnite is a 4-star safety-rated vehicle.

Front
Following the general introduction to the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition, the presenter starts the walkaround on the front of the SUV. The new Kuro Edition model comes equipped with a big matte dark grey grille with hexagonal patterns. He adds that, apart from this, it gets halogen headlamps and boomerang-shaped LED DRLs on the front bumper. He also mentions that this variant misses out on fog lights, but they can be added from aftermarket shops or the dealerships.
Engine options
Next, the vlogger opens the engine bay of the new Magnite Kuro Edition and talks about the powertrain options. Starting with the first engine option, which is a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. The vlogger states that this engine only comes mated to a manual transmission. The next option is a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque. It comes with options between a manual as well as a CVT transmission.
Side profile
After the engines, the vlogger moves to the side profile of the vehicle. First, he shows the new high gloss black 16-inch alloy wheels, which now also have red brake calipers to add to the sporty appeal of the SUV. Apart from this, the Kuro Edition gets the Kuro badge on the left fender and the Magnite badge on the right fender. It also comes with roof rails and a shark fin antenna on top.
Rear
Lastly, he shows the rear end of the new Kuro Edition Magnite. The SUV features a roof spoiler, rear wiper, washer, and a defogger setup. It also has four parking sensors and a camera. The Kuro Edition is equipped with a 360-degree reverse camera as well. The presenter adds that the company does not offer the Kuro with LED taillights; instead, it comes with standard halogen taillights.
Interior
Following the complete exterior walkaround, the vlogger takes a seat inside the cabin of the new Magnite Kuro Edition. He mentions that the interior of the SUV has been finished entirely in black to add to the sporty theme. He adds that the rear legroom is decent. Next, he shows the dashboard and mentions that it has a 7-inch digital instrument gauge cluster along with a multifunction steering wheel. He also showcases the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which comes with Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity.
