First and foremost, the company will be launching the highly anticipated Thar five-door in India. Over the last few months, the sightings of this SUV’s test mules have become very frequent. One of the company officials also highlighted the fact that this SUV will be launched in early 2024. Most likely, the launch will take place in the first quarter of next year. The five-door version of the Thar will boast a set of two extra doors with an additional row of seats in between.

On the outside, the new Thar will feature a brand new set of LED headlights with DRLs and a new front grille. It will also come equipped with a bigger 10-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a dashcam mounted behind the IRVM. Powertrain options will remain the same as the three-door Thar. Presently, the Mahindra Thar three-door model comes available with 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engine options in the four-wheel-drive variants.

Next up, the company will be launching the facelifted iteration of its popular sub-compact ICE and electric SUVs, the XUV300 and XUV400. Just like the Thar five-door, the test mules of these SUVs have also been spotted in the country on multiple occasions. It has been reported that these facelifted models will be launched sometime in March of next year.

The new XUV300 and XUV400 models will get an extensive design upgrade on the exterior as well as on the interior. The cars will get new LED headlights and taillights with a new front grille, front and rear bumpers. The new model will take inspiration from the upcoming BE.05 EV SUV. In terms of powertrains, they will most likely remain the same as the outgoing models.

Bolero Neo Plus

The Bolero has always remained one of the best-selling models for Mahindra. The company has also rebranded its TUV300 model into Bolero Neo, and its third vehicle, the Bolero Neo Plus, is about to make its debut next year. The company will be offering this new extended model in 7 and 9 seat layouts. The company will be targeting tier 2 cities and rural areas with this new SUV.

Reports have stated that it will come powered by a 2.2L diesel engine. This is the same engine that is being used in the Scorpio-N. However, in the Bolero Neo Plus, it will be tuned down. Most likely, it will be making around 120 bhp of power and come paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

XUVe.8 (XUV700 Electric)

The XUVe.8 will feature a much more futuristic-looking design with new LED headlights and LED DRLs and a closed-off front grille. It will most likely also get a connecting light in the middle as well. On the side profile, it will get a set of brand new 18-inch alloy wheels. The upcoming Mahindra XUVe.8 will also get copper highlights all around its exterior to distinguish it from its ICE-powered counterpart.

Mahindra has confirmed that the XUVe.8 will come equipped with an 80 kWh battery pack and an all-wheel-drive configuration with a dual-motor setup. According to reports, this powertrain will be able to generate a maximum of 230 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The XUVe.8 will be the first all-electric vehicle from the XUVe platform. This SUV will be directly competing with the Tata Harrier and Safari EVs.
