Because of this, aftermarket accessories shops are becoming more popular because they offer similar upgrades for a fraction of the price. Recently, a video of one such Mahindra Z2 modified with genuine Mahindra parts has been shared online.
Mahindra Scorpio-N base Z2 modifications
The video of this Mahindra Z2 conversion into the top-of-the-line Z8 variant has come courtesy of Vig Auto Accessories on their channel. Over the last few months, the shop owner has shared a number of videos of him modifying a lot of base and mid-spec variants of the new Mahindra Scorpio-N. In this video, the presenter adds that this particular vehicle is the Z2 variant, and it has been given a lot of genuine and aftermarket parts to transform it.
Exterior modifications
Starting at the front, this particular car has been given a genuine Mahindra chrome grille with the additional chrome strip above the grille. Apart from it, the headlight bulbs have been replaced with Pro7 high power LED bulbs. Another major update on the front end of this base Z2 variant has come because of the addition of Z8 variants genuine LED DRLs and fog lights.
On the side profile, the presenter mentions that they have added 17-inch genuine Mahindra alloy wheels. He added that they also have 18-inch alloy wheels in stock, and interested customers can get them for their Scorpio-Ns. Other additions on the side profile include the addition of chrome garnishes on the windows and window visors. He adds that the customer also opted for the C-chrome which goes around the rear window.
Other modifications on the vehicle include genuine Mahindra foot steps, replacement chrome exterior door handles, and a rearview camera. He added that they have also replaced the rear door handle as well. The presenter mentions that this particular customer has not opted for the roof rails, but they do have them in stock. He added that those are installed with the help of drilling holes on the roof, and they are permanent.
Interior modifications
Next up, the presenter opens the rear doors of this particular Mahindra Scorpio-N and shows the fully customized interior. He states that the main highlight of this interior is the brown leather seat covers. Apart from this, he adds that they have installed 7D floor mats to match the black and brown theme of the interior. In addition to these, they have added the genuine high gloss black window surrounds and silver grab handles on the front and rear of the car.
He then moves to the front of the interior and shows the same brown leather seats. On the front, this particular car has also been given grab handles at the A-pillar and illuminated scuff plates. The rest of the interior has been kept stock, adds the presenter.
