The Mahindra XUV700 was launched back in August of 2021, and it instantly became a hit. Ever since then, the company has sold over 1 lakh units of this advanced SUV. It comes available in 5 main variants, and in total, there are around 30 variants. According to many, one of the most value-for-money variants is the AX3, which sits above the base MX variants. Recently, a video showing this exact variant in detail has been shared online.
The video of the Mahindra XUV700 AX3 has been shared on YouTube by Avtansh Singh on their channel. It starts off with the presenter showing this SUV outside a Mahindra dealership and introducing it. He states that this particular variant is the one from which the company starts offering its connected technology of Adrenox. The vlogger adds that this particular variant, equipped with a diesel engine, is priced at Rs 20 lakh, and the petrol variant is cheaper by Rs 1.5 lakh.
XUV700 AX3 Engine Specifications
Following the introduction, he mentions that this model draws its power from a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. It makes a maximum of 182 bhp and 420 Nm of peak torque. The other engine offered is a 2.0-litre petrol engine that makes around 197 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. Both of these engines come offered with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
XUV700 AX3 Exterior Highlights
On the outside, the Mahindra XUV700 AX3 looks similar to its more expensive variants. However, it does miss out on a number of key features. On the front, the AX3 variant misses out on LED headlights; however, it does manage to come with LED DRLs and LED turn indicators along with LED fog lights. The grille remains the same but misses out on all of the sensors and cameras for ADAS.
Next up, the presenter shows the side profile of the SUV. The XUV700 also misses out on alloy wheels, which come offered starting from the AX5 variant. The AX3 variant only comes equipped with wheel covers on 17-inch alloy wheels. Following this, the presenter then adds that this variant also misses out on the panoramic sunroof as well. Finally, he shows the rear of the SUV, which looks pretty much identical to the more expensive variants. It gets the same rear spoiler, rear window wiper, washer, and defogger.
Interior Differences
Lastly, the vlogger then shows the interior of the SUV. He states that this variant gets a decently equipped interior. It gets the dual connected HD Superscreen, which offers a 26.03 cm infotainment and a 26.03 cm digital cluster. This variant also gets Mahindra AdrenoX, which is the company’s proprietary connected car app.
He adds that this particular variant also comes with fabric upholstery instead of leather seats and it misses out on the automatic air conditioning system. The centre console also misses out on the rotary dial for the infotainment system control. Lastly, he mentions that it also does not offer the start/stop button, and it only comes with two front airbags.
