After months of leaks and teasers, Kia finally unveiled the new Kia Sonet in India. The new Sonet comes with a refreshed design and added features. 2024 Kia Sonet variants

The new Kia Sonet comes with three engine options like before. First, we have a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 81bhp and 115Nm torque mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. Next up, we have a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that comes paired with an iMT and a DCT gearbox. Finally, we have the 1.5-litre diesel engine, producing 114bhp and 250Nm of torque. Kia has re-introduced the manual gearbox on the diesel engine. We also have an iMT and automatic gearbox option on this engine.

Kia is offering 15 safety features standard across all the variants. These features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, Brake force assist system, Vehicle stability management, Hill start assist control, rear parking sensors, Emergency stop signal, Highline TPMS, Speed sensing auto door lock, impact sensing auto door unlock, All3-point seat belts and all seatbelt reminder. 

The HTE variants come with 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol MT and 1.5-litre diesel MT.
