Noida Police New Traffic Rule

In a recent instance, Noida Police has decided to take strict actions against the drivers who violate traffic rules. According to the new rule, Noida Police will straight away cancel the driving licence of a person who receives more than three consecutive traffic challan. It includes offences such as – jumping red lights, over-speeding, overloading, using mobile phones while driving, or driving under the influence of alcohol. Further, Noida Police also stated that repeat offences could result in the suspension or permanent cancellation of the vehicle’s registration certificate.

Reason for the New Traffic Rule

Noida Police announced the new rules as per the instructions of the Supreme Court Committee on road safety. As per the reports, Noida and Greater Noida witnessed as many as 1,000 accidents this year. Out of which, the crashes took 400 lives which has certainly raised the concern about road safety. The rule has been announced by Noida Police and could be applied in other states as well.

So, always be a responsible driver and avoid violating traffic rules. A few practises such as following traffic signals, driving under the speed limit double and checking the mirrors before changing lanes can itself avoid many accidents. Also, for your own safety, always wear the seatbelts and never play with codings to get rid of seat belt alarms.
