2023 Maruti Suzuki Jimny converted into Brabus Mercedes Benz G63 AMG lookalike

Over the last few months, since the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, we have seen a number of them modified. Many people, even before receiving their Jimnys, imported conversion kits from international markets that help convert a Jimny into a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. Recently, another Jimny was converted into a Mercedes G-Wagen with such a kit; however, this one is a little different. This particular car has been converted with the use of the Brabus Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen kit, which is slightly different from the standard kit.

These pictures of the newest Jimny to G-Wagen conversion in India have been shared on Instagram by Car Crazy India on their page. This particular car is finished in a shade of black and has been given a number of new body parts, as with every Jimny conversion. Additionally, it has also been given a brand new fully custom interior which the standard Jimny does not get.

On the front, the entire fascia of the standard Jimny has been replaced with an exact look-alike of a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG modified by Brabus. For those who may not be aware of Brabus, it is a German high-performance automotive aftermarket tuning company that has been in business since 1977. Their main specialty is tuning and modifying Mercedes-Benz, Maybach, and Range Rovers. They produce their own Carbon Fiber and ABS kits that change the appearance of luxury cars from a number of manufacturers.

Now, although they do not produce kits for the Jimny, they do make kits for the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG luxury SUV. Just as a standard G-Wagen is popular, a Brabus kit-equipped G-Wagen is also very popular. So, this particular Jimny owner has bought and installed a kit from a different brand, which has created a Brabus-inspired conversion kit for the Jimny. The exact pricing of this conversion kit is currently unknown, but we believe that the kit, as well as the installation, might have cost around Rs 3-4 lakh (including custom interior). The original Brabus kit for the G-Wagen costs around $32,000-50,000.

What has changed?

Now, coming to the exact changes made to this particular Jimny, the car gets a new front grille with chrome slats and a Brabus B logo instead of the Suzuki logo. It also gets a brand new bonnet and front bumper. The fenders have also been changed, which come with headlight housings for the new LED headlights with circular LED DRLs. Additionally, on the front fenders, Brabus-styled vents have also been added.

On the side profile, we can note that the car has also been given a set of new high-gloss black alloy wheels. These are much bigger than the standard Jimny’s 15-inch alloy wheels and look similar to the G-63 AMG-styled wheels. Coming to the rear end design, the car has been given a new rear bumper, new LED taillights, Brabus-styled vents, and a new Brabus wheel cover. Interestingly, it misses out on the Brabus rear spoiler, which adds an even sportier appearance to the car.

As for the updates on the inside, the car has been given a brand new interior design. It has been provided with a dual-tone red and white interior theme. The top half of the dashboard has been finished in white, while the rest of the interior, including the lower dashboard, seats, and door panels, has all been finished in red leather. The seats also get white stitching to add to the dual-tone scheme. The vents have been changed to G-Wagen-styled vents, and the steering wheel has also been given white elements.
