Design

Tata Harrier EV

Tata has already showcased the Harrier EV concept at the Auto Expo 2023. We don’t expect any major changes in the production version, as Tata has already incorporated this design on the Harrier facelift. The Harrier EV will also get a connected DRL design and vertically positioned LED headlamps, a similar grille but closed-one for the EV, and the same upright stance. Other exterior highlights include different bumpers, connected LED Tail lamps, sequential turn indicators (for front and rear), roof-mounted spoiler, and vertically placed reflectors.

Tata Harrier EV – Specifications

Tata Harrier EV

Tata has been quite tightlipped about the battery and motor specs of the Harrier EV. Tata has stated that the Harrier EV could get a range of over 500km. This could mean a big battery pack considering the dimensions of the Harrier EV. Though we don’t know the motor specs of the Harrier EV. The Harrier EV is confirmed to come with dual electric motors, one on either axle, making it capable of an AWD system. So, we can expect a rotary dial to select different AWD modes.

Tata Harrier EV – Interior & features

Tata Harrier EV

Tata didn’t showcase the interiors of the Harrier EV concept, but we can expect them to be similar to the facelifted model. There could be some subtle changes like a different upholstery and colour scheme. The rest of the dashboard layout and features should remain more or less similar to the Harrier facelift. So, we could see features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 4-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo, 9-speaker JBL system with subwoofer and ADAS, and ambient lighting. Being an EV, we could see Harrier get the V2V and V2L, EV-specific features.
