Design
Citroen is working on a beefed-up version of the C3 hatchback in India. This extended version of the hatch will carry the quirky Citroen design language. Being an MPV, we can see a longer wheelbase to imbibe the third row of seating. Other than this, the above spy shots reveal that this car will persist SUV characteristics with flared wheel arches and a bulky body design. All in all, this car would tend to portray an SUV-like design with practicality and equipment like an MPV.

This MPV is rumoured to be based on the same modular CMP platform which is used in the C3. The powerhouse could also be adapted from the C3 which is the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine making 109bhp and 190Nm of torque. This could be the possible option for the C3 AirCross considering its proportions. This engine which is currently available with a manual gearbox could introduce the option of a torque converter automatic transmission in the car.
