Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh recently acquired a BMW iX, showing his commitment to electric mobility. However, the actor reportedly also owns a Tesla Model X, which was gifted by his wife, Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza, on his birthday. However, Riteish is owning this red-coloured Tesla Model X outside India, as this SUV is in a left-hand drive configuration.

Another famous personality from Bollywood, Pooja Batra owns a Tesla Model 3, which is currently the most affordable offering from Tesla’s global lineup. Pooja owns a black-coloured Tesla Model 3 in the US, where she has a secondary home apart from her base in Mumbai.

Tesla Model X
The director of Essar Capital, Prashant Ruia, was the first-ever Indian to buy himself a Tesla car on Indian soil. Ruia imported a blue-coloured Tesla Model X back in 2017, which has been spotted several times being driven on the roads of Mumbai.
Mukesh Ambani
Tesla Model S
Having one of the most glorious car collections in India, businessman Mukesh Ambani is another high-profile personality who owns a Tesla car on Indian soil. The country’s richest man imported a blue-coloured Tesla Model S 100D in India, which is one of the high-performance variants of the all-electric sedan. This version of the Model S gets a 100kWh battery and an electric motor setup, which generates 483 bhp of power and 660 Nm of torque. The Model S 100D claims a 504 km range and 250 kmph top speed.
Tesla Model X
Another Tesla offering present in the ‘Jio Garage’ owned by Mukesh Ambani is the Model X. Like the Model S he owns, the Model X of Mukesh Ambani is also in the high-performance 100D variant. With a powerful battery and motor setup, the Model X 100D owned by Ambani should be the most powerful electric SUV currently in India.
