Aditya Roy Kapur buys an all-new 2023 Range Rover worth Rs. 3 crore

After “Airlift” fame actress Nimrat Kaur and Indian fashion designer turned costume designer Manish Malhotra, the latest B-Town celeb to bring home the all-new 2023 Range Rover is Aditya Roy Kapur. The actor was recently spotted outside his home in Juhu posing with his newly acquired 2023 Range Rover. A short clip of the actor standing with his new SUV was posted online.

The “Aashiqui 2” fame actor has got himself a brand-new Land Rover Range Rover which recently got launched in India and has received a completely fresh appearance from earlier iterations. The all-new Range Rover on the exterior boasts a highly distinctive and contemporary appearance. The SUV gets  Projector LED lights and LED daytime running lights integrated into the headlights. The bumper has undergone severe remodelling and now seems more elegant. From the side, the SUV gets the recognizable Range Rover silhouette but in the rear now instead of huge LED taillamps it gets simple and extremely thin LED taillamps.

The 2023 Range Rover’s interior like the exterior has also been completely redesigned, and it has the most features of any Range Rover ever. A Meridian 35-speaker audio system is standard on the SUV. Additionally, it gets active noise cancellation, which reduces background noise by producing an opposing wave of sound to that produced by wheel vibrations, engines, tyres, and other ambient sounds.

The brand-new Range Rover also has an all-digital, floating-style entertainment system. It has a huge 13.1-inch infotainment screen that displays all of the vehicle’s data. In addition, the vehicle has a head-up display, multiple climate settings, a four-spoke wheel, and an entertainment system for the backseat. The top spec trims also gets foldable tables and a fridge in the rear seats as well.

The Range Rover is offered in up to 50 different variants, engine, wheelbase, and equipment package combinations. The regular 3.0-liter Diesel and Petrol SE versions in the Range Rover lineup start at Rs. 2.38 crore (ex-showroom), and the top-tier 4.4-liter Petrol LWB SV trim starts at Rs. 4.17 crore (ex-showroom).

The British automaker offers 12 Autobiographies, 9 First Editions, 12 Standard Range Rover trims, and 5 SV variants of the 2023 Range Rover in India.  The Range Rover has three main body types: Standard Wheelbase, Long Wheelbase, and Long Wheelbase 7 seats. The standard Range Rover’s two specification packs are SE and HSE, whilst the aforementioned Autobiography, First Edition, and SV each have their own distinctive features. As of yet we do not which variant has Aditya Roy Kapur opted for as the video is a short clip and just shows the front of the SUV.

In terms of the drivetrain, Land Rover offers the new shape Range Rover with a wide array of powertrain options. These options include gasoline, mild hybrid petrol, mild hybrid diesel, and petrol plug-in hybrid. The AWD configuration is standard on all models. D350 MHEV is a diesel mild hybrid, P400 MHEV is a petrol mild hybrid, P510e PHEV and P440e PHEV are petrol plug-in hybrids, and P530 is a petrol powertrain option. The P510e PHEV plug-in hybrid system is mated to a 3.0 litre 6-cylinder petrol engine that produces 510 horsepower and 700 Nm of peak torque. The same 3.0-liter 6-pot motor furnishes power to the P440e PHEV, which has a lower 440 horsepower state of tune and 620 Nm of peak torque.

Additionally, the mild hybrid 3.0 litre 6-cylinder engine in the diesel D350 produces 350 horsepower and 700 Nm of maximum torque. There is also a  3.0 litre in-line six petrol engine in the P400 MHEV mild hybrid generates 400 horsepower and 550 Nm of maximum torque. Lastly t he P530 4.4 litre V8 Twin Turbo Petrol engine, which cranks out 530 horsepower and 750 Nm of maximum torque, is the most powerful of the bunch.
