Cricket is one of the most celebrated sports in India and cricketers are one of the most highly-paid sportspersons in the country. Most of them have a lavish lifestyle now which consists of luxury cars and apartments. However, many of the members of the Indian cricket team come from a very humble background. Cricketer Prithvi Shaw is also one such player who had a very humble background. Two pictures of Prithvi Shaw has now surfaced online that shows how life of this young cricketer has changed.
In the first picture, Prithvi Shaw is seen standing next to a brand-new BMW 6-Series luxury car. next to him is his father. Prithvi Shaw actually gifted this 6-Series to his father last year. The white colour luxury car can also be seen in the video here. Coming to the next picture, Prithvi Shaw can be seen on the pillion seat of a Yamaha Libero motorcycle which his father is riding. The cricket looks too young in this picture and it looks like his father is taking him to cricket practice. We can see the cricket kit bag placed on the fuel tank of the motorcycle. We are not sure when this picture was clicked but it is easily a decade old.
These images of Prithvi Shaw and his father had gone viral on the internet. Prithvi Shaw name appeared in the news when he was around 14 years old. The young cricketer had scored 546 runs off 330 balls in a domestic game and that is what made him popular. He is currently one of the youngest players in the Indian cricket team.

Coming back to the BMW 6-Series, Prithvi had bought this GT car last year. It is available in coupe styling only. The car is priced at Rs 70 lakh, ex-showroom. He owns the 630i M Sport variant which is the facelifted version of the car that came to the Indian market in April last year. The BMW 6-Series GT sedan looks extremely premium and futuristic. Like any other luxury car in this segment, the car is available with a long list of features. It comes with sleek-looking headlamps with BMW’s laser system, touchscreen infotainment system with gesture control, leather-wrapped seats, multi-zone climate control, soft closing doors, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, 360 degree camera multi-function steering wheel, cruise control and many more features.
BMW 6-Series GT is available with one petrol and two diesel engine options. There is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 258 PS and a peak torque of 400 Nm. One of the diesel engine on offer is also a 2.0 litre unit that generates 190 Ps and 400 Nm of peak torque. The other diesel version uses a 3.0 litre engine that generates 265 Ps and 620 Nm of peak torque. This is the most powerful version of the GT. Prithvi Shaw is currently in the news in connection with another incident. Recently he was involved in a case where group of people chased Prithvi Shaw’s friend car in Mumbai and vandalised it. Police has registered case against 8 people including a social media influencer.
