Design

Best Innova Hycross variant

The VX variant of the Innova HyCross comes with the same design as the ZX(O) variant. Just that in the ZX(O) variant we get more chrome treatment. Other than that, the VX misses out on DRLs and fog lamps, but we do get front parking sensors. Coming to the side profile, we have a similar design with 17-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, we get some chrome elements completing the look. We also get rear & wiper washer and rear parking sensors.

Best Innova Hycross variant – Specifications

The VX variant of the Innova HyCross comes with Toyota’s strong hybrid system. The VX variant comes with a 2.0-litre petrol engine. With the strong hybrid setup, this engine is capable of producing 183bhp with an engine torque of 188Nm and a motor torque of 206Nm. Transmission options include only an e-CVT gearbox.

Features

The interiors of the Vx variant come with dual-tone fabric. This adds a lot of premium feel to the cabin. Toyota has added soft-touch elements on the dashboard increasing the premium appeal. At the centre, we have an 8.0-inch infotainment system on the dashboard. The VX variant is the only strong hybrid variant that comes in 7 & 8-seater options. Other features in the GX variant include a 6-speaker audio system, semi-digital instrument cluster, paddle shifters, 360-degree camera, retractable sunshade, TPMS etc.

Pricing

The VX variant of the Innova HyCross comes in 7 and 8-seater options. The pricing of the 7-seater option is Rs 29.10 lakhs, and the 8-seater option is Rs 29.16 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Best Innova Hycross variant – Conclusion

The VX variant does offer a lot of things. Still, you miss out on features like ADAS, 9-speaker JBL system, Ottoman seats, 10.1-inch infotainment etc. But still, these are fancy features, for Rs 29 lakh you are getting decent enough features and the hybrid setup. The only downside of the VX variant is the absence of six airbags. If you can ignore this, the VX variant looks like a value-for-money option.
