The actress upgraded her old Mercedes Benz GLE SUV with its elder sibling recently and the pictures of her taking the delivery were shared on Instagram via the German automotive marques dealership.

The actress chose the elegant colour of Obsidian Black for her new GLS SUV since it is one of the most popular in thecountry. The Mercedes Benz GLS 400d is a massive SUV that commands great attention on the road. The SUV is powered by an equally massive diesel engine. The mill is a 3.0 litre in-line six-cylinder turbocharged engine with 326 Bhp and 700 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission called the 9G-Tronic. The engine’s power is distributed to all four wheels. The GLS 400d is a huge SUV, yet it is not sluggish. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and has an electronically limited peak speed of 238 kmph which is plenty for Indian roads.
In terms of features, the Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d SUV includes a large fully digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 13-speaker audio system, MBUX, tablet for rear seat passengers to control various settings, five-zone climate control.
The behemoth SUV also comes with electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, electrically reclinable rear seat, ventilated seats, adaptive cruise control, 360-degree camera, blind spot assist, soft closing doors, active brake assist, and active brake assist Air suspension, a panoramic sunroof, a leather-wrapped console and door pads, ambient lighting, and luxury leather seat coverings are all included. Currently the GLS 400 4Matic starts at Rs 1.37 crore in India.
Mercedes Benz India also sells the even more luxurious iteration of the SUV called the Maybach GLS600 in the country as well. It is the first Maybach SUV to be formally introduced in India and the most costly SUV made by Mercedes. Celebrities also frequently choose the GLS600, just like they do with the standard GLS. Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khuranna, Ram Charan, and Ranveer Singh, a Bollywood actor, all own Maybach GLS600s. Most recently Ranbir Kapoor’s mom Neetu Kapoor also bought herself an all-new Maybach GLS600.
