Toyota Hyryder Hybrid: Long term ownership review after 10,000 Kms

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is one of the newest entrants in the mid-size SUV segment of India and since its launch, it has gained a good amount of popularity in a small time. The SUV is based on the same platform as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. As mentioned, the car is fairly new in the market and not a lot of Urban Cruiser Hyryders have garnered significant mileage on their odometers. However, this owner has already put 10,000 kms on his SUV and has given a long-term review of the model.

The video review of the owner of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder with 10,000 kms has been uploaded on YouTube by Rohit Vlogs on their channel. The video starts with the presenter of the channel by introducing the car and the owner. The presenter shows the car from the outside and asks the owner about his date of purchase. The owner starts off by saying that he bought the car 2.5 months ago and has already put 10,000 kms on the odometer. He also states that the car is the base model of the hybrid range of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

Following this presenter takes a small walkaround of the car and shows the front, side, and rear of the car. He opens the rear decklid to reveal the luggage area of the car and shows the space. He then moves inside the car and shows the interior of the SUV. The presenter then showcases the odometer of the car that reads 10,480 kms and claims that this is the first Urban Cruiser Hyryder in India that has done over 10,000 kms in India. Following this he asks the owner on how he feels about the car to which the owner replies that he very likes the car and compares it with his Innova Crysta.

The owner tells that the car has a little less comfort then the Innova but he is now used to it and very much loves the car as it does not have any vibrations and is very quiet. He also was asked on how much did it cost him to get the car to which he replied that he paid around 18 lakh on-road for the car. Following this he asked the owner about a story about the mileage of the car to which he told that he recently took the car from Delhi to Rishikesh and he first put Rs 1800 worth of petrol in the car and on his way he only added Rs 500 worth of more petrol and made it all the way back to Delhi.

The presenter then asks the friend of the owner for his review of the comfort of the car to which he replied that he also very much likes the car it is an amazing car. He added that after adding Rs 500 of fuel the car after reaching Delhi had a little more petrol left in the tank.
