Raj Thackeray is a popular and powerful political leader from Maharashtra and the chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). Unlike most politicians, he prefers to drive his own cars and has been spotted driving several times. He owns a decent number of expensive sedans and SUVs in his garage and moves around with a convoy, like most politicians. Recently, Raj Thackeray purchased a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser SUV worth Rs. 2.10 crore, and we have a video that shows his new ride.

The video was uploaded by CS 12 VLOGS on their YouTube channel, which focuses on expensive and exotic cars owned by rich businessmen, celebrities, and politicians. This channel has featured many exotic cars in the past. In the video, the spotter shows a white-colored current-generation Toyota Land Cruiser SUV parked outside a house in Mumbai, which later reveals to be Raj Thackeray’s residence.
The video also shows the Land Rover Defender which Raj Thackeray gifted his son Amit Thackeray. The white SUV was parked inside another complex while the Land Cruiser was parked right opposite to it. The spotter managed to take a couple of shots of the SUV and also showed the registration plate. Recently, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan also took delivery of his Toyota Land Cruiser. This is not the first Land Cruiser that Raj Thackeray owns, as he previously owned a grey-colored Land Cruiser LC200. It is uncertain whether he still owns that SUV.
Toyota launched the current-generation Land Cruiser in India this year at the Auto Expo, and it is the most expensive model sold by Toyota in India. The Land Cruiser is based on the GA-F platform, which is based on TNGA. It is the flagship model from Toyota and offers features like all-LED headlamps, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leather upholstery, a 14-speaker JBL audio system, and more. Just like the previous versions, the Land Cruiser comes with 4×4 as a standard feature. The weight distribution on the SUV has been improved, and the suspension technology is also different. The Kinetic Dynamic Suspension system on the Land Cruiser also means that the off-road capabilities of the SUV have been drastically improved.
Internationally, Toyota offers the Land Cruiser with both petrol and diesel engine options. In India, however, we only get the diesel engine, which is a 3.3-liter V6 turbo diesel engine that generates a maximum of 309 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission as standard. The petrol version of the Land Cruiser is available with a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine that generates 415 PS and 650 Nm of peak torque. The Toyota Land Cruiser is an extremely popular model worldwide, and due to its popularity, there is a long waiting period of up to 4 years for the SUV. The SUV is sold as a CBU, which is why it has a hefty price tag. Other notable owners of this flagship SUV from Toyota include actor and politician Pawan Kalyan, Punjabi Singer Gurdas Maan, K.N Nehru (Politician from Tamil Nadu), and businessman John Alukkas.
