The facelifts of Tata Nexon and Tata Nexon EV are all set to launch on 14th September. Now the most recent leak was regarding the variant nomenclature of the Nexon and we have even covered the variant breakdown of the ICE version of the Nexon. New Tata Nexon EV – Variants Details
The outgoing Nexon is sold in two variants, Prime and Max. However, just like the Tiago EV, the Nexon EV facelift is also likely to be sold in Medium and Long range versions. These variants will replace the current Prime and Max variants.
Also, we have already covered the variants details of the ICE versions of the Nexon facelift, and similarly, the Nexon EV facelift is also expected to follow similar nomenclature. So just like the ICE version, the Nexon EV too will come with four major variants – Smart, Pure, Creative, and Fearless. These variants are further expected to receive sub variants which would receive ‘plus’ as a suffix.
Interior and Feature
Talking about the equipment list, the Nexon and Nexon EV are expected to come with an identical equipment list. The top, Fearless variant is going to come fully-loaded with features. The feature list includez 10.25-inch touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, touch based HVAC, ventilated front seats, and more.
Battery Specifications
On the battery front, the sizes of batteries in Nexon EV facelift are likely to remain unchanged. So the Prime variant, now Medium Range variant, will be equipped with the 30.2kWh battery pack and it will be paired to a 127bhp motor. Whereas the Max variant, now Long Range variant will continue the battery pack of 40.5kWh and it will be paired to a 141bhp motor. The claimed range for the medium range variant is 312km and 453km for the long range variant. However, Tata could try to increase the range figures by improving the efficiency of the battery pack.
