Finally, Honda’s first proper SUV will be hitting the Indian market. Two months back, Honda unveiled the Elevate revealing all its details, but the price. Honda has taken its sweet time but has finally announced the pricing. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Honda Elevate pricing and we have also compared the pricing with other SUVs in its segment.
Honda Elevate pricing
The pricing of the Honda Elevate starts from Rs 13.09 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The pricing of the V Variant is Rs 14.40 lakh and the V CVT variant is Rs 15.74 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Moving forward the VX variant is priced at Rs 16.01 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) and the VX CVT is priced at Rs 17.45 lakh. The top-of-the-line ZX variant is priced at Rs 17.75 lakh and the ZX CVT is priced at Rs 19.10 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
Honda Elevate pricing vs competition
Design
The Honda Elevate comes with a boxy design language, something which is loved in the Indian market. At the front, we have an upright grille with a chrome element separating the bonnet & grille. The side profile is clean but does resemble a lot of other cars in this segment. As we come to the rear, we can see an inverted L-shaped with a chrome strip in the middle.
Specifications
The Elevate shares its platform and other specs with the City. It also comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of producing 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. Transmission options include a manual and a CVT gearbox. Honda claims a mileage of 15.31 kmpl on the manual gearbox and 16.92 kmpl on the automatic gearbox.
Honda Elevate pricing & Features
The Elevate is not the most feature-loaded of cars in this segment. However, Honda has given it all the necessary features. Highlight features include a 10.25-inch infotainment, semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, lane watch camera, connected car technology and more. It also comes with Honda Sensing (ADAS). Other safety features include 6-airbags, hill start assist, vehicle stability assist and rear parking sensors.
