Design highlights of the Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4
Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4 variant comes with a huge and bold stance like any other variant of the SUV. The difference though starts from the front. It gets a silver coloured front grille rather than chrome grille which higher variants offer. Also, it comes with normal halogen headlamps rather than the projector LEDs and even misses out on LED DRLs and fog lamps.
From the side the SUV looks huge and is pretty tall. Talking about the elements on offer, you get a blacked out roof rail, body coloured ORVMs with LED turn indicators, body coloured door handles, a side footboard, and 17-inch steel wheels.
The wheels however have a good profile of 245/65 and Mahindra is kind enough to provide the wheel caps on the rather basic looking steel wheels.
Going to the rear, you get a rear spoiler with a high mount stop lamp, rear wiper, and LED tail lamps. Also just like the previous gen Scorpio, the Scorpio-N continues to get a side opening tailgate.

What makes Scorpio-N Z4 a sensible choice is the list of features the SUV offers. It gets an 8.0-inch infotainment system, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, cruise control, fabric upholstery, and cooled glove box. While the automatic variant gets extra features like ESC, hill start assist, and hill descent control.

What makes the Z4 variant even unique is that it comes with an option for proper 4WD hardware, making it a capable off-roader. But the fact that Scorpio-N is the only 7 seater 4×4 car in this price range which offers practicality like no other. The Z4 4WD variant is offered with the 2.2-litre diesel engine (172bhp & 400Nm). which is mated to 6-speed manual transmission as the automatic transmission is reserved exclusively for the higher variants.
