The Indian music composer, record producer, singer, and songwriter is known for his extraordinary music. Recently, the legendary composer made headlines; however, he did not make them because of his new music. Rather, he made them for a completely different reason. The reason is that A.R. Rahman recently bought a brand-new Lamborghini Urus S super SUV worth Rs 4.18 crore, and the pictures of his newest ride were shared online.
The pictures of A.R. Rahman’s newest addition to his garage, the Lamborghini Urus S, have been shared on Facebook. The pictures come courtesy of Automobili Ardent. From the pictures, the music legend’s Lamborghini Urus S can be seen standing in front of a detailing studio in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Urus S can be seen caked in mud and dirt, meaning that it has been used as intended by A.R. Rahman. Now, as for when this car was delivered, it has not been disclosed, but it seems like it has arrived at the detailing shop for a full detail. Most likely, it could also get paint protection film and other protective coatings like Ceramic coats as well.

As per the post, the Lamborghini Urus S bought by A.R. Rahman is finished in a classy shade of Bianco Monocerus. It seems like the music icon has gone for a basic spec and has not opted for the more expensive wheels and high-gloss accents on the bumpers. However, despite that, the car looks amazing. The exact details about the interior specifications of A.R. Rahman’s Urus S are unknown at the moment.
Lamborghini Urus S: Details
For those unaware, the Lamborghini Urus S is the brand’s newest addition to the lineup. It is also the second model in the Urus lineup, with the first one being the Urus Performante. The Urus S, unlike the Performante, is a more comfort-oriented variant and gets the air suspension, as the previous model of this super SUV. The Urus Performante, on the other hand, comes equipped with a stiffer and more performance-oriented fixed coil spring suspension.
Because the Urus S gets air suspension, it comes equipped with three off-road modes, including Sabbia, Neve, and Terra (Sand, Snow, and Mud) – in addition to Strada, Sport, and Corsa (Street, Sport, and Track) modes. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the Urus Performante only gets a single off-road mode, which is the ‘Rally’ mode. This is because of the coil springs. The Urus Performante has been designed with the racetrack in focus.
Coming to the powertrain of A.R. Rahman’s Urus S, it comes powered by a massive 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine. This engine, which is the same as the Urus Performante, is capable of producing a maximum of 666 bhp of power and 850 Nm of torque. As for the performance side of things, the Urus Performante can perform a sprint from 0-100kph in a claimed 3.3 seconds. The Urus S, on the other hand, manages the same sprint in 3.5 seconds. The Urus Performante and S both come with a four-wheel-drive layout, and transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Another notable celebrity who recently brought home a brand-new Lamborghini Urus S is none other than the cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin has gone with a shade of blue for his Lamborghini Urus S, and his choice of wheels is also different from that of A.R. Rahman. A number of other celebrities also own the standard Lamborghini Urus. The list includes Rohit Shetty, Badshah, Ranveer Singh, Rohit Sharma, Rajnikanth, Kartik Aryan, Akash Ambani, NTR Jr, and Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal.
