Hyundai Creta N Line – Only design changes or something more?

Hyundai as a brand has never shied away from trying different things in the Indian market. In 2021, it introduced the N Line cars in India. Till now, we have seen the N Line moniker on the i20 and Venue. But what about a Creta N Line? Can we expect it? It seems likely that we will see Hyundai launch the Creta N Line with the facelifted model. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Hyundai Creta N line.

Design updates

The India-bound Creta facelift or the Creta N Line are yet to be revealed. But from the spy shots, the Creta facelift seems to be getting a Palisade-like design. On the N Line model, we can expect some subtle changes on the front grille and bumper. We could see red accents with gloss-black elements. There will also be N Line badging plastered all over the car. Other changes could include line-specific alloy wheels, side skirts and a new rear bumper.

In the interiors, we can expect an all-black interior with red inserts to personify the sporty theme. Then, we will also have an N Line-specific gear lever and steering wheel. We can also expect all the new features coming on the facelift to make their way onto the N Line variant. We could see a heads-up display, 360-degree camera, digital instrument cluster and ADAS.

Hyundai Creta N Line – More power?

The Creta N Line could come with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. Unlike the i20, we don’t think it will be a N Line exclusive engine and will come on the normal Creta too. This engine is capable of producing 157bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission options should include a manual and a 7-speed DCT. Could we see a power bump? We don’t think so, but Hyundai could give it a sportier suspension, louder exhaust and better handling like it does with other N Line models.

Launch timeline

According to reports, Hyundai plans to launch the Creta facelift and N Line in the same time frame. Both models will enter series production from January 2024, and their launch could happen in March 2024. What about the price? The Creta N Line could be priced from Rs 18 lakh, and top models could go up to Rs 24 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai).
