Salman Khan, the immensely popular superstar from Bollywood, also known as “Bhaijaan,” was recently spotted at the private airport terminal in Mumbai. The actor was seen arriving at the terminal in his newly acquired bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV, which he has privately imported from the Middle Eastern market. The Nissan Patrol replaces his previous generation bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser LC200 in which he was also regularly spotted.
The video of Salman arriving at the private airport terminal in Mumbai has been shared on YouTube by Cars For You on their channel. In the video, a three-car convoy of Salman Khan can be seen arriving at the airport. The first car in his convoy, with his personal security guards, was a black Toyota Fortuner, and it was followed by his bulletproof Nissan Patrol. The third SUV in the convoy was a Mahindra Bolero Neo in which the police officers on duty for Salman’s security were seen.
Following this, the bulletproof Nissan Patrol of the actor gets parked right in front of the gate of the terminal. Before Salman Khan comes out of his vehicle, his main personal security head, Shera, stands in front of his gate, and following this, other security guards take their positions. Salman Khan’s newest security team now even includes a gunman along with the Maharashtra police officers. After the security guards took positions, the actor was then seen coming out of his vehicle. He quickly posed for the paparazzi and then went inside the terminal.

Why does Salman Khan have such high security?

Now, coming to the vehicle in which Salman Khan now travels, it is a Nissan Patrol SUV. This SUV has been privately imported by the actor from the Middle Eastern market. For those who are unaware, the Nissan Patrol is the flagship SUV that the Japanese manufacturer produces but does not sell in India. This vehicle is more popular in Gulf nations and Southeast Asian countries. The model is internationally known as one of the best choices for bulletproofing. The exact bulletproof protection levels of this SUV are currently unknown.
In terms of the powertrain, the Nissan Patrol that Salman Khan owns is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 petrol engine. This massive engine produces a maximum of 405hp and 560Nm of torque, which is plenty to haul this extremely heavy armored vehicle. The SUV’s huge engine also comes paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission, and it comes standard with four-wheel drive. A rear-locking differential is also included in the model. In addition, a 4.0-liter V6 petrol engine is offered in the UAE market.
