The Mahindra Thar, ever since its launch, has remained one of the most popular lifestyle off-roaders in India. It is known for its off-road capabilities and its rugged, imposing appearance. This SUV is also a favorite among people who love to modify their cars, and a lot of enthusiasts have created some of the most unique Thars in the country. Recently, another modification video of the Mahindra Thar has been shared on YouTube. This particular Thar has been given a beautiful dual-tone black and cognac interior.
The video of this modified Mahindra Thar has been shared on YouTube by Vig Auto Accessories on their channel. It starts off with the presenter talking about all the modifications done on the exterior of this SUV. He starts at the front and shows the newly added 7-slot grille and Jeep Wrangler-style LED headlights. He also mentions that they have added DRLs on fenders as well as a front roof spoiler with LED light bars, which can be controlled via a remote control.

Interior modifications
Next, he moves to the interior of the Mahindra Thar. He starts off with the door panel. The entire door panel, as stated by the presenter, has been wrapped in a beautiful-looking cognac-colored leather. He added that they could have painted the door panel; however, they have instead wrapped it. Additionally, he mentions that all of the moldings and plastic parts that come in matte black have been finished in high gloss black. He also shows the ambient lighting on the door panel and black leather quilted pattern near the armrest as well.
Moving on, he shows the main dashboard layout of the Thar. He states that, just like the doors, they have also wrapped it in cognac leather. Additionally, he shows the newly added D-Cut leather-wrapped steering wheel, which gets thicker grab handles than a normal steering wheel. Other additions include illuminated aluminum speaker grilles and Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG-styled air conditioning vents.
He also mentions that all of the trims in the interior have been painted in high gloss black. Next, the presenter shows the newly added black and cognac leather seats with diamond quilting, and he adds that they have also added the same design to the center armrest as well. The rear seats also get the same seat covers, and both sides get the same cognac quilted armrest with charging slots. Additionally, he adds that the top of the roof has also been fully wrapped with quilted cognac leather along with the sides of the rear.
Audio upgrades
Lastly, the presenter adds that they have also upgraded the music system of this Mahindra Thar. He also shows a Mahindra Scorpio-N beside it, which has also received the same audio setup. The new audio setup includes two high-res Sony ES series speakers along with a GS4 amplifier. He adds that they have also used high-quality premium speaker wiring to enhance the overall audio experience.
