New Mahindra SUV spotted with an exciting feature!

Mahindra is working on a plethora of new products for the Indian and global markets. The brand is already testing some of its Born Electric cars like the XUV.e8 and BE.05. Now another of its electric cars has been spotted for the first. This model is the BE Rall E showcased earlier this year at the Formula-e event in Hyderabad. In today’s article, let’s talk about the New Mahindra SUV.

BE Rall-E spotted

Mahindra is slowly starting to test all its upcoming Born Electric cars. We have already seen the test mules of XUV.e8, XUV.e9 and BE.05. Now the first test mule of the BE Rall-E has been spotted. The BE Rall-E is based on the BE.05 but gets a more rugged design. From the spy video, we can see the side profile of the BE Rall-E. It seems to be carrying most of the elements shown in the concept model. The major hint that this is the Rall-E is the tyres jutting out from the wheel arches. We can also see a complete glass roof at the top.

Specs

The BE Rall-E will also be based on the INGLO platform like its other EV counterparts. We could see a 60kWh or 80kWh battery pack on the BE Rall-E with both single-motor and dual-motor setups. The Rall-E could get some tweaks like higher ground clearance and more low-end torque to go with its rugged design. The electric powertrains will be sourced from Volkswagen and Valeo. Mahindra is yet to reveal the range and battery specifications.

New Mahindra SUV – Launch

Mahindra has already stated the launch timeline of some of its Born Electric cars. The first of them is going to be the XUV.e8 by December 2024. After that, we could see the XUV.e9 in April 2025, followed by the BE.05 in October 2025. So we can expect the BE Rall-E in a similar time frame probably before the end of 2025. It should be slightly more expensive than the BE.05.
