In September, Honda launched the Elevate Apex Edition to boost its sales this festive season. Now according to the Industry rumours, Honda is now gearing up to launch new special editions models of the Elevate SUV and City Sedan in the country. What new things will it get now? Let’s have a look.

New Honda SUV – Elevate ‘Dark’ Edition

New Honda SUV - Elevate Dark Edition

Following Tata’s footsteps, Honda is expected to launch the Elevate Dark edition in India. The new edition is expected to bring out a number of cosmetic changes on this popular SUV. The Honda Elevate Dark edition is likely to get an all-black paint with other elements being replaced by blacked-out styling. Additionally, it will feature a blacked out exterior and alloy wheels. The SUV could also get black interior upholstery among other cosmetic changes. The new variants are expected to be based on the top spec version. The new variant is expected to demand a slight premium over the top-spec ZX variant of the Honda Elevate.

Talking about the powertrain, expect no mechanical changes. The SUV will continue with the 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm of peak torque paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT gearbox. So, when will it come? Well, Honda is expected to bring the Elevate Dark edition by March 2025. But will it not be too late for just an edition? Wait for a surprise at the end!

Honda City Sports Edition

Just like the Honda Elevate dark edition, the City sedan will get a sports edition in the coming time. As the name suggests, the City Sports edition will likely get different sets of sporty alloy wheels along with decals to give it a more attractive look and more sporty cosmetic changes on the exteriors. Expect the interiors to also get few sport details.

The limited edition of the Honda City will continue sharing its powertrains with its sibling Honda Elevate. Talking about the price, Honda is expected to charge a premium over its current price for the limited edition. The new Honda City Sports edition is expected to arrive in the market post diwali or by end of November 2024. Again late! 

So what’s the surprise, well the industry rumours suggest currently the Honda dealers are requesting the company to bring the new editions earlier. So let’s see how soon Honda launches its new editions in the market.
