6 New Tata SUVs Launching In Next 6 Months!

For the past few months, Tata Motors have witnessed a dip in the monthly sales. To recover from the loss, the brand is offering some crazy discounts. Additionally, the brand also plans to bring new products in the near future. In fact, we are expecting as many as 6 new Tata SUVs to be launched next year!

New Tata SUVs – Tata Harrier EV & Tata Safari EV

The first two products out of the 6 upcoming Tata SUVs are the Harrier EV & Safari EV. Tata Motors is focusing on the EV segment & Harrier / Safari are the next two probable EV SUVs. The brand has already showcased the Harrier EV while we have spotted the test models on roads. These models will be based on the Acti.ev platform which is highly efficient. That said, both the Harrier EV & the Safari EV are expected to come with a real life range of up to 500 km. Whereas they could be offered with a larger battery pack of up to 75 kWh. Pricing will be key as the recent Tata EV SUVs are available with aggressive pricing. Talking about the launch, the Harrier EV & the Safari EV will likely debut in January 2025.

Tata Harrier & Tata Safari Petrol

Apart from launching the EV avatars of its flagship models, Tata Motors will also launch the SUVs with new petrol engines. Currently, Harrier & Safari are available only with a 2.0-litre diesel engine. However, looking at the demand, the brand has planned to introduce petrol engines for these two SUVs. Tata Motors had showcased a 1.5-litre TGDi petrol engine at the 2023 Auto Expo. And that is the same unit which will be offered with Harrier & Safari. Talking about the 1.5-litre TGDi engine, this unit produces 168 bhp & 275 Nm of torque. The transmission options could include manual & DCA! With the new petrol engine, the pricing will significantly go down for the SUVs. Talking about launch, the Harrier & Safari petrol could be launched soon after the EV counterparts.

New Tata SUVs – Tata Punch Facelift

Apart from the flagship SUVs, Tata Motors is also going to update its most affordable SUV – Tata Punch. Early this year, the brand launched Punch.ev in India. It comes with refreshed design & new features. Now, it is a high time to update the petrol variants of the Punch SUV. That said, the Punch facelift will likely get all the updates from the EV variant. The front fascia will mimic other Tata SUVs while the interior will be updated with new steering wheel & features. But, when will the Punch facelift arrive in showrooms? Well, the brand will not take much time as the Punch is the best selling SUV in the market. So sooner, by February 2025, Tata could launch the Punch facelift.

Tata Sierra

The last product on the list is probably India’s most favourite SUV – the return on Tata Sierra! It is an all new SUV which will be available in both EV & petrol models. The Sierra concept was unveiled last year which revealed the complete design of the SUV. It will have a similar front facia like the current Tata models. However, the side profile will smartly mimic the wrap around glass treatment from the original model. Also, the new Sierra will be a more luxury offering from the brand. It is said that Tata could offer Sierra even in 4-seat configuration. The 4-seater version might get a grand centre console at the back. Also, it will probably get some luxury accessories for premium appeal. But when will it launch? Well, we are highly expecting the Sierra to make its debut in the first half of 2025!
