3 upcoming 7-seaters – MG Gloster Facelift

The first SUV on the list of upcoming 7-seaters is the MG Gloster. MG Gloster is one of the most feature loaded SUVs that lost its ground to the Toyota Fortuner in the country. Now, MG is planning to launch the new updated Gloster by November 2024. Talking about the updates, the new SUV will get a boxy design based on the internationally sold Maxus LDV90. On the exterior, changes will include a new grille, redesigned front and rear lamps and new alloy wheels to give it a more bulkier look.

Talking about the interiors, the Gloster is already a feature loaded SUV. So we can expect slightly redesigned interiors along with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a new digital instrument cluster. Other key elements on the inside include a large panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, multi-zone AC, heated & ventilated seats, dual wireless charger and more. The MG Gloster Facelift is expected before the end of 2024 priced between Rs 48 lakh and Rs 55 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Jeep Meridian Facelift

The next SUV on the list is again a Toyota Fortuner Rival, Jeep Meridian. Talking about the launch, the Jeep has already initiated pre bookings at Rs 50,000 so we can expect the brand to launch the updated Meridian by this year’s festive season.

Changes-wise, the new model will feature subtle cosmetic changes on the exterior and the interior. The facelifted model can be introduced with a front and rear dash cam along with an air purifier and level 2 ADAS offering features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision braking, lane keep assist and blind spot monitoring among others. The new model is expected to carry the same in cabin features like a 10.1-inch floating infotainment unit and a digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, 360-degree camera and drive modes among others in its package.

3 upcoming 7-seaters – Toyota Fortuner

Concluding the list with the new Toyota Fortuner. Yes! The mass market king will get an update this festive season. Talking about the launch, the brand has not yet announced its unveiling. We expect the new Toyota Fortuner to launch by November 2024. Talking about the changes, the new Toyota Fortuner will get a new 48V hybrid system available with the 2.8-litre diesel engine to be more powerful and increase the fuel efficiency in the country.

The newmodel features no exterior changes in the international market. However, we expect Toyota to make some cosmetic changes to refresh the SUV design. On the inside, expect new features like a 360-degree camera, a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats and an ADAS suite among others in its package.

In terms of pricing, it is expected that the Toyota Fortuner mild hybrid will be priced starting from Rs 40 lakh and going up to Rs 53 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
